He was single, 5'3 1/2" tall, dark brown hair, grey eyes, fresh complexion, stout, cut on chin, woman and child, "J Bishop" on left arm, top of right little finger wanting, illiterate. 15/11/1858: TOL 9/11/1861: CP Possible death: 19/8/1897, 80 years old, died of debility at the Mt. Eliza Depot - listed as a labourer and pauper.
