on 2nd April 1856 Commissioner Halloran reports on a George Hunt of the Bangalore recommending the cancelling of his ticket of leave to the Principal Superintendent of Convicts for being absent from the district. Hunt was held at the Gayndah Lock-up waiting to be sent back to Sydney.
