Mr Smee records John (Hunter) emancipist from COROMANDEL marrying Susannah (Flannagan) at St Phillips Sydney in 1817. The entry for Robert (Flanagan) from BODDINGTON shows the John (Hunter) to be a crewman from colonial brig ACTIVE who arrived NSW in 1817 & continued to trade with Tahiti. John (Hunter) & Susannah (Flanagan/Chapman)'s children (4of) were; 1.John (Hunter) born in 1818 & baptised at St Philips Sydney in 1819. 2.William Hector (Hunter) born & baptised at St Philips Sydney in 1820. He died in 1821 age15months. 3.Eliza Ann (Hunter) born & baptised at St Phillips Sydney in 1822. 4.Hepzibah (Hunter) born in 1823 & baptised age6m St Phillips Sydney in 1824.
