Transported for stealing mahogany plank and pine box. Gaol report. Second conviction. Married. Stated this offence, Stealing a mahogany plank and 3 pine slabs, pr Mr Ranlett at Gainsborough. For pigeons, 12 months. Married. Surgeon’s Report, Good. Wife and 5 children. Cabinet maker and joiner. Can read and write. No misconduct reported. See record for full details.




Removal of Convicts. —Two convicts, sentenced to transportation, were removed from the County Gaol, Thursday week, to the Milbank prison. They were - Samuel Hurst, sentenced at the sessions recently held at Retford, for seven years, for stealing wood, at Gainsborough ; and Samuel Watkinson, sentenced at the recent sessions at the County Hall, for seven years, for stealing jacket, at Newstead.
