William Hutchinson was 43 years old and was transported for 'stealing clothes' From the Old Bailey: WILLIAM HUTCHINSON was indicted for stealing, on the 18th of February , 1 jacket, value 15s.; 1 waistcoat, value 5s.; and 1 pair of trousers, value 20s.; the goods of Thomas Smith ; the said goods being in a vessel on the navigable river Thames.
