In 1846, friends of Joseph Ingham sent £5.10.0 to Pentonville prison to purchase a Reed, Harness and Shuttle for him to take with him to Australia. This was approved and the items were purchased for him before he left aboard the Maitland. (Commissioners' Minutes 1846 Item 1158 p. 243)
