Hulk Records. HO-9-8_6 Arrived from Bury St Edmunds, 12 Aug 1830. Isaac Potter, age 23, Larceny, Tried Bury St Edmunds, 19 July 1830, 7 years. NSW 5 Oct 1830, John.
Committed to Bury Gaol, Isaac Potter, and Fred. Webb, (by R. Mapletoft, Esq.) charged with having stolen one hen, the property of the Rev. Dr. Maddy, of Somerton, and violently assaulted and misused John Nunn, servant to the said Dr. Maddy. Bury and Norwich Post, 16 June 1830. On Wednesday last William Timothy Willis, Thomas Wiffin, Richard Thake, John Bigsby, Frederick Webb, Isaac Potter, and William Townsend, severally convicted of larcenies at the last County Sessions, were removed from our Gaol to the Leviathan hulk at Portsmouth, in order to be transported for 7 years; Bury and Norwich Post, 18 Aug 1830

31/7/1830 The Suffolk Chronicle; or Weekly General Advertiser & County Express Suffolk, England: lsaac Potter and Frederick Webb, for stealing a hen, the property of the Rev. Dr. Maddy, and violently assaulting and misusing John Nunn, his servant. Frederick Webb was also onboard 'John'. Isaac Potter was listed as being 21 years old on arrival - he was 5'6" tall, brown hair, grey eyes. Married with one child, Wife Eliza at Harden Bury, St. Edmunds, child with her. 1832/33 Musters: Assigned to Mr. Robert Ralston. 1835 Muster: TOL 15/6/1836: Permission to marry Elizabeth Harvey (America 1830). 7/9/1836: Married at Launceston. 12/7/1837: COF 1842 Census: At Launceston - At the racecourse. 1843 Census: At Muddy Plains. 17/12/1846: Departed George Town to Adelaide per 'Henry'. 12/12/1846 The Cornwall Chronicle, Launceston: Passengers per Henry, for Adelaide — Mr. Tolmer, Mr. Win. Akeburst, Mr. C. Littler, Thomas Phipps wife and child, Isaac Potter - arrived Adelaide 26/12/1846. 11/1/1848 - Unclaimed letter - Adelaide.
