sle of Ely Assizes. The following prisoners were tried at the above Assizes: John Jackson, for stealing a cart mare, the property of Messrs Palmer of Ely, was found guilty, Death, but recommended to mercy. Norfolk Chronicle, 16 Aug 1823.
