He was charged with stealing a handkerchief , on 8 6 1875, of Robert (Thornton) at Old Bailey in 29 6 1785 (quick justice), sentenced to 7years, held probably at London/Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 26 1 1788 after being on board for 12months on First Fleet ship SCARBOROUGH; he was Protestant. He received 25lashes for insolence on 23 2 1789. He married Sarah (Barnes) on 12 8 1792 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. On 20 2 1794 he was granted 30acres at Eastern Farms/Kissing Point/Putney which he farmed. He became Free by Servitude before 1795. His endeavour achieved in him being off stores by 1802. He was recorded at Eastern Farms (30acres) Kissing Point in 1828, but as John husband of Mary Ann according to this Website. He died on 15 2 1838 age73 at Ryde/Kissing Point & was buried at St Annes CofE? church Ryde. She was tried for grand larceny (stealing pewter pots etc of Thomas (Elliott), on 7 1 1790, at probably Old Bailey on 13 1 1790, sentenced to 7years, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 7 1791 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship MARY ANN; she was Protestant. She became Free by Servitude before 1796. She died on 9 7 1853 age77 at Kissing Point & was buried at St Annes CofE? church Ryde [Noted however, a Sarah (Barnes) free, died on 7 8 1814 age38 & was buried at St Phillips CofE Sydney]. John (Parton) was born in 1788or1792. He was caught in the act (on 31 1 1812) of breaking & entering intending to steal with 1other at the Piccadilly shop of James (Rogers), tried at Old Bailey on 19 2 1812, sentenced to death commuted to Life, held probably at London/Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 11 6 1813 after a voyage of 7months on FORTUNE. On 7 1 1814 he won the first known prize fight (a gruelling affair). In 1825 he is recorded as servant to his wife & was recorded again in 1825 with his family at Sydney-Kissing Point. On 20 10 1826 (when his family left) he applied as John (Berringer) to be reassigned to a Mr (Porter). Note: "The Third Fleet Convicts" R.J.Ryan) James Bradley was convicted at Maidstone, Kent 15 July,1790 and sentenced to 7 years imprisonment. After he obtained his Ticket of Leave, he was granted 30 acres in the district of Mulgrave Place, on 10 May 1803. This carried a rent of two (2) shillings after he had worked his acreage for five years and started making a profit. The Pioneer Register of 1828 noted that he had died in England but recorded no actual date.

James Bradley was granted 30 acres at Kissing Point, now Putney, on 20 Feb 1794. In June 1785 he was convited at Old Bailey in London. Sentenced to 7 years.

James Edward Bradley was sentenced to seven years transportation for stealing a white linen handkerchief worth two shillings. He arrived in Sydney in January 1788 aboard the Scarborough as part of the First Fleet. On 23 February 1789 he received 25 lashes for insolence to a sentinel. He married fellow convict Sarah Barnes on 12 August 1792. In early 1794 he was granted 30 acres of land at the Eastern Farms. By 1802 the family was able to live 'off stores'. He was buried on 16 February 1838.
