Principal Superintendent of Convicts Office, 14th May, 1839. THE Undermentioned Persons have obtained their Certificates of Freedom since the last day of publication, viz.— Garvey James, Roslyn Castle 2. NSW Govt. Gazette, 15 May 1839.
Lawrence Carragher and James Carey, sheep-stealing— Guilty. They were recommended to mercy by the Jury. ... These Assizes terminated on Thursday. We annex a list of the sentences : Death recorded—Richard Garavey, for sheep-stealing. To be transported for 7 years—Lawrence Carragher, James Carey, William Alexander. ...
