James Kernahan was 21 years old and was transported for "Firearms". James is listed as a Whiteboy Rebel and was arrested for carrying firearms with intent to rob. 1834: Assigned to A Murray at Parramatta. 1837: TOL Sydney 14/8/1841: COF 1841: Married Mary MacGoldrick/Goldrick (1819-1884) at Parramatta. They had 11 children. By 1857, James had bought land plots along the Richmond Road. 1872: Listed as a farmer 12/3/1887: James was listed as a fruit grower at the time of his death, although he lived at Kissing Point, Ryde.
