James Muggeridge(muggridge)(mugridge) is my Great Uncle and I have his life in Sussex and Tasmania recorded from his arrival until his death in 1870. After his gang work in and around Hobart until 1851 he moved to Spring Bay, working for George Rudd and is recorded as being their until his demise. No death certificate can be produced at this point although his death is recorded in the Argus. A jury returned a verdict of `death by the visitation of God, this is being researched.
