One woman and 7 children died on the voyage. At least 2 children were born during the voyage. The Surgeon Superintendent was Dr Wylie, R.N. and the Matron, Mrs Evans. The Arabian arrived at Hobart Town, February 25 1847.

Jane Ralston, for stealing £1 7s. 6d. from the person of Thomas Holland—Guilty. transported for seven years. Armagh Guardian, 7 July 1846. Crown business commenced yesterday week, and terminated Wednesday evening. The sentences were as follows:—John Tenpenny, Jane Ralston, Mary Reynolds, and Anne M Dermott, for larceny; to be each transported for seven years. (The above persons are old offenders, having been frequently convicted before.)
