1841: Single man; 5'1"; labourer; aged 57yrs; native place - Mozambique; black complexion; black woolley hair; black eyes; flat broad nose; sharp chin; country marks on both temples. 15mths Probation period in Colony. Died H.M. Colonial Hospital, Hobart on 28/02/1846.

Julian Jaques was convicted at Port Louis, Mauritius on 24/03/1841 for arson. 10yr transportation sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Daphne', arriving 19/10/1841.
