Mary Jenkins (14) was convicted and sentenced to death which was later commuted to Life and Transportation.
She married a fellow convict Elijah Larter (27) on 31st March, 1836 at Richmond Tasmania.

the reason i changed her date of birth as i feel it maybe incorrect her age at time of trial was 20 in 1831 which would make her birth abt 1811 unless she lied abt her age

Mary’s description record upon her arrival in Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) clearly stated her age, in 1831, is 20yrs. A house servant, 4’9 1/2”, single.
