ADM 101/19/2 Medical and surgical journal of Her Majesty's convict ship David Clark for between 29 April and 9 October 1841 by Edward Jeffery, Surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed in a voyage to Van Diemen's Land. Folio 25: John Jenner, aged 50, convict; disease, ophthalmia. Put on sick list, 30 July 1841. Discharged to hospital 7 October 1841.

John was blind on arrival. He was transported for stealing a silver spoon. He died in the hospital at New Norfolk 5\6\1844.
