***2 John Clark/e's on this voyage.*** John Clarke was tried on 14/3/1849 for Larceny. Occupation: Cook. He was born at Norwich and had previous convictions. John was 41 years old, 5'6 1/2" tall, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, sallow complexion, stout build, scar on cheek, semi literate. John was married with 3 children. 31/8/1854: TOL 20/1/1857: Married Eliza Smith - 5 children. 4/5/1863: CP 10/5/1871: John Clarke died at Beverley, WA. Eliza then married Robert Hughes on 2/10/1872 at Toodyay.
