John Davies was convicted at Salop on 20 July 1829 for stealing. Previous offences. 7 yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Bussorah Merchant' arriving 18 Jan 1830. Assignments in Colony. Muster 1834 - at Bothwell, Tas. Died 10 Jan 1836 at Bothwell. (ref. Conduct Record)
