Convict Notes
John Dodridge was 24 years old when transported. 1843: TOL Bathurst 12/8/1856: Sydney Morning Herald: CORONER'S INQUEST.-An Inquest was held by Dr. Busby, on Thursday afternoon on the body of John Doddridge, shoemaker, who died suddenly on morning of that day from the effects of Intemperance. Dr. Machattie handed in a certificate to the effect that from an examination of the body and inquiries which he had made, he was of opinion that the deceasèd died of apoplexy caused by drinking. A verdict was re-turned in accordance with the above facts. No Marriage or children found.
