John LAWRENCE arrived on the 'Campbell Macquarie' 01/01/1820. No details given if a convict she and Archives only appear to have 2 convicts landing at VDL. Tried and convicted at Hobart on 30/07/1831 for Stealing a coil of rope, the property of Mr. Stokel. 7 yr sentence. Van Diemens Land Convict no. 41595. 1832 Muster: Thos. Walker, Esq. 1833 " " " 1835 " " " Several notes of misconduct - drunk, disorderly, improper language etc. Had Ticket of Leave by 1836 but it was revoked. Restored by 1837. 25/07/1839 Stealing - committed for trial at Cleveland, VDL.
