Convict Notes
John Mansfield was arraigned for feloniously stealing 2s. the property of John Duggan. John Duggan proved, prisoner worked with him as baker; sent him with the £14 2s. leave at Mr Malcomsons mill pay for his flour; prisoner ran off with the money, and was taken in Caher, when £7 of the money was found on him. James Ryan, Police, swore arrested prisoner in Caher, and that he acknowledged money belonged to Duggan, and said he intended give himself to the Caher Police.—Guilty.— To be transported for seven years. Tipperary Free Press, 1 April 1829.
