Molyneux John, Jane, 31-1722, 23, Wigan, laborer and dragoon officers' servant, 5 feet 9 ¾ inches, ruddy comp., light brown hair, grey eyes, mermaid, two fish, EM, hearts and darts on right arm, JI on left, two small scars over right side of mouth, from T. A. Murray, Lake George, since September. NSW Govt Gazette, 12 Oct 1836.

Register of General Courts Martial. Private John Molyneux, 6th Drgns. Regt, Tried at Dublin, 9 Sept 1829 for Desertion. Sentence, Transportation as a felon for life and sent to N.S.W. Proceedings to go before the King, 30 Sept 1829.
