Tried at Salisbury 10 March 1829 and sentenced to transportation for Life for stealing hair. Assigned to Killarney district on arrival. 173492 Olding John - Norfolk 1829. 20 January 1843 Newcastle gaol State Archives NSW; Gaol Entrance Book, Item: 2/2020; Roll: 757. Admitted to Newcastle gaol from Maitland. Surrendered his ticket of leave on the grounds that by reason of ill health he could not maintain himself.
