City Assizes. ... Joseph Baxter, Wm. Rudd, and John Townson, for burglary in the house of Mr. W. Chandler, of St. George's Colegate. Bury and Norwich Post, 19 Aug 1829. Monday morning last the following convicts were conveyed from the City Gaol on their way to City Gaol on their way to Portsmouth, pursuant to their respective sentences of transportation, viz Wm. Dade, John Townson, Wm. Batson, Robert Bell, Joseph Baxter, and W. Rudd, for life; Steph. Norman, John David Gooch, and John Taylor, for fourteen years.  Norfolk Chronicle, 19 Sep 1829.
