John's current profile shows: '1850: Married Ann Walker, born Clare and died 1910 Corowa, they had about 13 children, all born in Goulburn. John was listed as John CLARE on the NSW BDM for the marriage.' I believe that his first four children were born in Collector not Goulburn and that it is likely that he and Ann moved to Goulburn circa 1856. There was significant contact between the Clears and the Dunns in the Collector area at the time - three Dunns married three Clears.
