He was tried at Glamorgan Wales Great Session as a pickpocket, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict om 9 7 1791 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship ALBERMARLE; he was Protestant. He lived firstly with Mary (Jenkins). He was issued his Cerificate of Freedom about 1797/8. He died on 14 5 1835 age79 father of 9children. Hannah (Hawkins) was born in 1767. She was tried at Stafford Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 26 6 1790 after a voyage of 7months on Fleet ship NEPTUNE; a voyage noted for extreme brutality of prisoners with a high death rate. She was sent to Norfolk Island arrivimg there on 7 8 1790. She associated firstly (1of4) with Henry (Taylor) & may have married him on 5 11 1791 in group ceremony on Norfolk Island-but not on list of such marriages. She left the island on 3 9 1803. She separated before 1801 when she returned to Sydney, or perhaps she returned later as she (as Hannah/Mary) had a second (2of4) relationship with Henry (Cohen/Crehan/Cone) whom she apparantly married on Norfolk Island. William was transported on the "Albermarle" and arrived October 13 1791. In the colony, he formed a relationship with Mary Jenkins (AKA Mary Miller) (Convict, Royal Admiral, 1792). They do not appear to have married but the couple did have 7 children between 1795 and 1803. They are still noted as being together in the 1822 Muster: Mary Jenkins, free by servitude, Royal Admiral, 7 years, wife of T W John, Windsor.
