William Johnson, aged 23, a respectable looking young man, was sentenced to seven years' transportation, for stealing a set of knives and forks, the conviction being the second for a similar offence. Liverpool Mercury, 27 Jan 1826. Hulk Records. HO-9-4-4. Page 19 Justitia Hulk Received 25 March 1826. William Johnson, alias Hardiman, age 28, Stg 12 knives & forks.
