13-Aug-1851: Ticket of Leave cancelled for being absent from District. Illegally at large. The undermentioned prisoners of the Crown being absent from their Districts, are illegally at large :- Jonathan Hazeel, Bangalore, 31, Dundee, compositor, 5 feet 2 inches, light sallow comp., light brown hair, grey eyes, eyebrows partially meeting, scar knuckle right fore finger, small dark mole back of small of left leg; from ticket of leave, Moreton Bay, since June, 1851. c1821: Year of birth calculated from stated aged 28, in 1849 Quarterly list in prisons and on hulks. 27-Apr-1847: Jonathan Hazeel of Dundee, James Moffatt, John Black [all transported on Bangalore 1850] for the crime of assault with intent to rob. Tried at High Court, Perth, Scotland.
