Francis Jones, per Candahar, F.S., Offence-Larceny as a servant, Sentence-3 months, Native place-England, Trade-labourer, age 60yrs, 5 feet 6 inches high, resides at Hamilton. Tasmania Police Gazette, 2nd June 1871, p91. Discharge of Prisoner week ending 30 August 1871. Francis Jones, tried at Hamilton, on the 27 May 1871, for larceny, served 3 months, native place Hereford, age 55yrs, 5 feet 5 1/2 inches high, brown hair, C.P., left eye injured.
