Joseph married 12 Jauary 1833 to Mary Ahern, born 1810 Cork Ireland. Mary was a "dairy maid & all work". She was tried August 1830 for stealing, received 7 years and was transported on the "Palambam" arriving Port Jackson 31st July 1831. Joseph and his wife had a big family and set up a dealership enterprise in Sydney.
