Hobart Town Gazette, 4 Mar 1825 Absconded prisoners William Jones, 234, 5 ft. 5½ in. red hair, blue eyes, 23 years of age, a baker, tried at Lancester July 1822, sentence 7 years, arrived in this Colony per Albion 1824, native of Manchester, a ring pricked on the little finger on left hand, absconded from the Public Works May 5, 1824.—£2 Reward.
