Cheltenham Journal and Gloucestershire Fashionable Weekly Gazette Gloucestershire, England 20 Aug 1832 Joseph Geley and Joseph Moss, for stealing a silver watch, &c. the property of J. Gibbs, of Lower Swell. *Joseph Geley arrived VDL per 'Jupiter' 1832. _____________________ Gloucestershire, England, Prison Records, 1728-1914 for Joseph Moss: Joseph Moss, aged 13, of Lower Swell - Charged on the oaths of Henry Minchin & John Gibbs with stealing a watch chain and seals and sundry articles of clothing as also two walking sticks a looking glass aspy??? glass and some money amounting in the whole to 13/6 or upwards from the premises of the John Gibbs at Lower Swell on the night bet. the 23 & 24 of July inst. Joseph Moss was on the Hulk Euryalus at Chatham. Medical Journal of the Moffatt 1833/34: Folios 14-15: Joseph Moss, aged 15, convict; case number 8; disease or hurt, pneumonia. Put on sick list, 6 February 1834. Discharged 16 March 1834. No deaths listed in the Journal.
