Convict Notes
Henry Jude was 25 years old on arrival, and was transported for stealing flour from his Master's mill which he sold and kept the money. Henry was 5'5" tall, single, could read and write, protestant, dark brown hair, whiskers and eyebrows, blue eyes. He had 2 brothers, Simon and David, and his trade was a miller but he could also dress stones. 27/2/1844: Misconduct in being a great distance from his Station - admonished. 20/2/1845: Released from 1st stage of Probation. 30/3/1847: TOL 15/4/1849: COF 20/9/1849: Henry was listed as a passenger per "David Malcolm" Launceston to San Francisco (Free by servitude).
