Henry Jupp was convicted at Port Louis, Mauritius for deserting his Regiment. 7yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) on the ‘Daphne’, arriving 19/10/1841.
Sailor; aged 22yrs; 5’11”; dark complexion; brown hair; grey eyes; Protestant; read & write; single man.
Native Place: Brighton, Sussex, England.
12mths Probation in Colony.
1843: Cassidy at Richmond. Forster at George Town.
