John Kane was 27 years old on arrival in WA. He was 5'10 1/2" tall, brown hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, slight build. 22/8/1854: TOL 29/11/1862: CP Champion Bay 21/2/1864: Expiree 11/6/1867: Certified Freedom date. 1867: Married Margaret Young - listed as Caine. They had 8 children. Resided on Greenough Road, Geraldton. 1907: This death of John Kane is listed in the district of Subiaco.
