DONEGAL ASSIZES. At these assizes the following persons were put upon their trial :— … John Kane, High Kane, Patrick Kane, and John Lawn, indicted for burglariously entering the dwelling-house of Martha Shevlin, and stealing weal and articles of wearing apparel -  Guilty — John to be hanged on 2d September, Hugh and Patk. the 9th September. John Lawn, to be hanged 1st November. ... Belfast News-Letter, 22 Aug 1817.
