Est date of birth; 1762 Trial; Middlesex, 10 Apr 1793. 7 years Arrival, 2 Jun 1797, New South Wales Per Ship; Ganges ----------------------- Old Bailey On-Line 305. WILLIAM KATES was indicted for burglarously breaking and entering the dwelling house of William Marsh , about the hour of seven in the night of the 11th of March , and stealing therein seven pair of women's stuff shoes, value 1 l. 4 s. two pair of women's leather shoes, value 6 s. two other leather shoes, value 2 s. two other stuff shoes, value 3 s. the goods of the said William Marsh . Born 1762. Gender male. Height 5' 6". Tried 10th April 1793. Age. 31. Transported; Aug 1796; Age 34.
