Charles Kavanagh, 27, single, RC, labourer and quarryman, although tried in Dublin, had been born in Wicklow, according to the indent for this ship. Convicted 8 February 1837 for Assault and rape, sentenced to transportation for life. He got a Ticket of Leave for the district of Paterson in 1845, then Scone in 1846, and a Conditional Pardon in 1851. (Note there were two Charles Kavanaghs on the Heber).
