BURGLARY. John Byrne and Patrick Kearns were indicted for a burglary and robbery in the village St Doolughs. Daniel Segrave swore that on the night of the 29th April, his house was entered and quantity of money, wearing apparel, &c. taken off; the robbers when they entered the house covered up the witness’s head in the bed, and swore they would  shoot him if he stirred. James Ward swore he arrested the prisoners on the morning after the robbery  in the Butchers’ wood, Phoenix Park; they had a bundle of the clothes with them, which was identified as part of Segrave’s property. The Jury found them guilty of the robbery, but acquitted them of the burglary. ... Saunders’s News-Letter, 6 July 1830
