Sessions court, July 18. THURSDAY JUVENILE OFFENDERS, Lawrence Byrne, John Keating, Joseph Beirne, John Kenny, and James Norton, were indicted tor a conspiracy to cut and destroy fifty yards of cotton warp, in the process of being manufactured in the Smithfield Penitentiary. It appeared that the prisoners had been confined in this prison, and while there had been actually engaged, after an antecedent combination for the purpose, in destroying the property stated in the indictment. None of the prisoners were more than fourteen or fifteen years age. The jury having returned verdict of Guilty, the Court sentenced Byrne and Keating to transported for seven years, and the two others to long imprisonment.
