Family connections for James (Kebby) are: KEBBY James (Kebby/Kibby/Kebbie/Kirbeyey) was born about 1776/84. He was tried for robbey at Somerset Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 12 1801 after a voyage of 6.5months on CANADA. He was recorded in 1822 Free by Servitude with his family as landholder at Liverpool. He died on 29 9 1824 age48 at Sydney & was buried at St James CofE Sydney. [Some details taken from this Website] Elizabeth (Coker) was born about 1773. She arrived in NSW with her family on 12 6 1804 after a voyage of 5.5months on EXPERIMENT. She married secondly (2of3) Joseph (Sampson) emancipist on 7 5 1808 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. She was recorded in 1822 with her family at Liverpool. She produced perhaps 8children in her lifetime. Details of Elizabeth (Coker)s family are given in entry for John (Town ROYAL ADMIRAL 1800) on this Website. James (Kibby/Kirbey) & Elizabeth (Coker/Earle) produced 4children> 1.-3.??? (Kibby/Kirbey) 4.??? (Kibby/Kirbey) was born about 1818. He was recorded in 1822 with his parents at Liverpool. They had 4 children. Jonathan Earle died in 1807. 1822 Census: James Kebbie, free by servitude, Canada, 7 years, Landholder, Liverpool. Elizabeth Kebbie Kebbie, 4, born in the colony, child to above. 1824: James Kibby died, Sydney, NSW., aged 40.
