Stated this offence- tendering an unlawful oath & assault Brien O’Hara, Mayo. Single. Surgeon’s Report: a smart active lad. Trade, ploman & F Labourer. Age 21, native place Westmeath. Catholic, cannot read or write. 11 Oct 1844, Ticket of Leave. Free by servitude, 27 July 1847. C.F. 30/7/47. Again convicted, Book 5 No 144. -------------------------------------------------- Conduct Record. https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON37-1-5p56 Patrick Keegan, British Sovereign, tried Launceston Q.S. 8 Feb 1849. To be imp. & kept to H.L in the House of Correction Launct. For the space of 2 years. Imprisoned for stealing 300 feet of Glass & £5 & stores & 3/-, the property of Arthur J. Marriott. Stated this offence- stealing 3 boxes of Glass, pr A.J. Merriott. Single.
