Borough Sessions. James Kelly, aged 18, was indicted for stealing an umbrella, the property of Lancelot Vance. The prosecutor on the night of the 7th of ? as it was raining very hard, he had his umbrella over him ; the prisoner and another boy came him, tripped him, he fell down ; they then tried to get his watch but did not succeed they however got his umbrella, with which the other boy ran off; the prosecutor scuffled some time with the prisoner, who succeeded in extricating himself and ran away; the prosecutor followed and he was stopped by the watchmen.
