Mary KELMARTIN was convicted at Clare, Ireland on 21 June 1850 for cow stealing. Previous offence for stealing beef. 10yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship 'Blackfriar' arriving 29 May 1851. Aged 22yrs; country servant; single woman; 5' height; dark complexion; black hair; grey eyes; Roman Catholic. Native Place: Co. Clare, Ireland.
