Eliza KENNEDY was convicted at Dublin City, Ireland on 9 Nov 1850 for stealing a watch. Previous conviction. 7 yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship 'Blackfriar' arriving 29 May 1851. Married woman - husband Hugh had been transported but now supposed dead (ref. Convict record sheet). Aged 30yrs; house servant; Roman Catholic; can read; 5'3 1/4" height; ruddy complexion; red hair; light Hazel eyes. Native place: Belfast
