Conduct Record located: George KICK was convicted, at Bristol, England on 30 Dec 1833, for receiving promisery notes knowing them to be stolen. 7yr transportation sentence and sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'William Metcalf' arriving 4 Sept 1834. Married man - wife Mary Anne - at Bristol. 5 children. Some notes of misconduct and punishments. In 1834 his sentence was extended by 1 yr. 22 May 1839: Ticket of Leave granted. 1842: Free Certificate

No conduct record found for George Kick, also no date of death or crime. George Kick was 37 years old on arrival in VDL. He was born in Eddington, Wiltshire. George was 5'4 1/2" tall, dark complexion, dark brown hair and whiskers, brown eyes. 3/10/1834: Trumpeter General, Hobart: George Kick was ordered to 'dance' at a road party, his master complaining of his bad habits, and refusing to take him back.
