Conduct Record located: George KICK was convicted, at Bristol, England on 30 Dec 1833, for receiving promisery notes knowing them to be stolen. 7yr transportation sentence and sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'William Metcalf' arriving 4 Sept 1834. Married man - wife Mary Anne - at Bristol. 5 children. Some notes of misconduct and punishments. In 1834 his sentence was extended by 1 yr. 22 May 1839: Ticket of Leave granted. 1842: Free Certificate
