CIRCUIT INTELLIGENCE Robert Kier was put to the bar, accused of breaking into the dairy of Invermay, and taking thence two cans of salted butter and Mary M'Donald, his wife, for resetting a quantity of wearing apparel, also stolen from Invermay. Both pleaded guilty. Kier was sentenced to seven years transportation, and Mary M'Donald to six months imprisonment: Caledonian Mercury, 20 April 1818.
