Thomas KILROE was born in Tubber and Rosemount Parish in Co Westmeath to parents William Kilroe and Margaret Fallon. He died in a fire in Hawera on the North Island of New Zealand.

Catholic, can read a little, age 24, shoemaker. Native place Westmeath. Ticket of Leave Revoked 25 May 1852. This was because he positively refused to assist a constable. 22/3/1853 Ticket of Leave. Cert Free, 10/4/1854. Marriage Record: https://libraries.tas.gov.au/Digital/RGD37-1-11/RGD37-1-11P257 Thomas Kilroe, age 26, shoemaker, bachelor, and Catherine Cuddily, servant, aged 21, spinster, were married 12 Aug 1852 at St Joseph’s church, Hobart Town. Both signed with their mark X. Witnesses were John Early and Johanna Ahern. Catherine Cuddihy arrived per John Calvin. Her younger brother, Denis Cuddihy, aged 16, was transported on Blenheim.
