Family connections for Henry (King) are: KING Henry (King) was tried at Kent Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 12 1801 after a voyage of 6.5months on Fleet ship MINORCA. He is recorded as marrying, as an emancipist, Mary (Newberry/Newbury her second marriage) on 20 10 1813 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. He is recorded in 1825 at the Asylum Sydney. [Some details taken from this Website] Mary (Newberry/Newbury) was living at a Workhouse when 95years old Susannah (Powell) gave her lodgings. She was tried for stealing, on 26 1 1808, money of Susannah (Powell) at Old Bailey, sentenced to 7 years, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 16 11 1808 after a voyage of 8.5months on SPEKE. She had a first relationship with George (Higgerson-senior his second relationship) & produced 11 children. She was Free by Servitude by 1816. She produced 11children in her lifetime.
