Convict Notes




THE COMMISSION— This Day. BURGLARY AND ROBBERY. Patrick Kelly, Michael King and Thomas Ryan, were convicted of a burglary and robbery in the house Doctor Moore, at Clonlarf, on the night of the 7th July last, when considerable property was stolen therefrom, some which was afterwards found with the prisoners. They were sentenced to fifteen years transportation. Dublin Evening Post, 11 Aug 1842.

Age 20, 5ft 4 ¾ in. Catholic, can read and write, Single. Offence: Same as P. Kelly, above. (Housebreaking by night, pr M Moore of Clintorf, and stealing plate & shoes, - King & Ryan on board for same.) once for clothes, 6 months. Similar offences discharged twice.. Surgeon’s report: Good.
